Discover the design possibilities in the laboratory
Standard laboratory planning usually remains theoretical and abstract
When a laboratory is to be modernized, the start of the planning phase is often very abstract and theoretical. The main thing you have in mind is the image of the existing, current, outdated laboratory and you know that certain processes urgently need to be changed. Or you have read about new ideas in laboratory work methods and would like to implement them in your own laboratory
But what options are there here?
When it comes to rethinking processes and structures, it is sometimes difficult to imagine the new solution. It is true that you can get support from experts who have already gained experience in redesigning laboratories. However, before you start planning the new laboratory in detail, it would be very helpful to get a few ideas and see what the solutions look like in practice. It's like building a house. In the end, you also get ideas from friends and acquaintances and can therefore better assess what suits you and what doesn't.
However, it's not so easy with laboratory construction. Most laboratories are not available for a tour for various reasons.
Infraserv offers concrete suggestions during a tour of Industriepark Höchst
It's different for us. In addition to many external laboratory remodeling projects, Infraserv has also remodeled or built many laboratories directly at our Industriepark Höchst site. And whenever the opportunity arises and the lab operators agree to our request, we offer our lab planning customers a tour of our labs.
These tours are very popular with our customers. This is because they can see our proposals and solutions in real life and can therefore visualize the planned implementations much better than just on the basis of an abstract laboratory plan. Whether it is better to place a small fume cupboard next to the laboratory workstation or to design a larger fume cupboard as a separate cubicle is ultimately up to the customer to decide. However, this is much easier after gaining a concrete insight into the many possibilities for laboratory design.
