Choosing laboratory furniture is often difficult
Finding the right furniture is difficult. This is just as true at home as it is at work. It is even more difficult in the laboratory environment. Unfortunately, if you want to equip a new laboratory with modern laboratory furniture, you can't just go to a furniture store.
To get an overview of the various manufacturers, it is often necessary to visit a trade fair. Here, the equipment suppliers can be compared directly with each other. However, a trade fair is not always the right time for planning. In addition, the setups presented there usually have little to do with the actual conditions in the laboratory. As a buyer, you therefore regularly ask yourself whether the furniture can also be used so flexibly in reality or whether the cabinets and laboratory workstations are really so robust.
Only use and actual experience in the laboratory reveal the possibilities and limitations of the various solutions. It would therefore be best to see the products in real operation using a specific example. However, most laboratories are not available for a tour and so often the only option is to visit a trade fair or take a look at the homepage or catalog.
